Eligible students must be planning to attend participating colleges in New York City, Miami, Washington D.C., El Paso, Rio Grande Valley, and online and pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree. They must have a grade point average of 2.5 or above. The scholarship may be used for tuition, books, and other college fees and expenses.
The scholarship is offered by TheDream.US, a Washington D.C.-based non-profit organization that provides college scholarships to highly motivated undocumented immigrants who would otherwise not be able to afford a college education. The goal of the organization is to enable 2,000 eligible students over the next ten years to realize their dream of a college education and joining the U.S. workforce.
