Microsoft Disability Scholarship

Microsoft Disability Scholarship
Microsoft Disability Scholarship enables disabled high school students to attend either a 2-year or four-year college. Eligible students are high school students living with a disability. Disabilities can include visual, mobility, hearing, speech or cognitive.

Applicants must plan to major in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, legal or in business, including paralegal, pre-law, finance, business administration, or marketing. They must also have a passion for technology and demonstrate financial need.

All students applying must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above. The purpose of the scholarship is to increase career opportunities for students with disabilities and encourage more students with disabilities to pursue careers in technology fields.

The scholarship is offered through the Seattle Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Seattle, Washington, on behalf of the Microsoft disAbility Employee Resource Group (ERG) at Microsoft.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in APRIL of each year, and the award amount is usually $5,000.
