Have a great idea to improve your school community? Apply for a grant to make it happen. Citizens Committee for NYC is accepting applications for our Neighborhood Grants, which award up to $3,000 to grassroots groups across the city working on community projects; we support everything from community gardens to tenant organizing and everything in between, as long as it is volunteer-driven and community-based. We prioritize groups based in low income neighborhoods and Title I public schools.
Applications are due January 27, 2014. Visit our website for more information, grant guidelines, and a copy of the application. Help us to spread the word to neighborhood groups, schools, community boards, and anyone working to improve their community!
