Below is what we need to do this week for our differentiation station
assignment. I think it is mostly just building on the resources from
last week. Thanks for sharing by the way!

Visit your group’s social network and post any additional resources
you have located this week related to using technology to
differentiate instruction. For each resource, provide a brief
description as well as the grade level/age level for which it is
appropriate.

Differentiation According to Readiness: Arcademic Skill Builders
http://www.arcademicskillbuilders.com/

Found this website after last week's work and liked it so much I
included in my application for week 5. It is part of a group of tools
provided at http://www.4teachers.org/ which includes a rubric maker
that I use often. I think it is appropriate for younger to upper
elementary students mainly. However, I would like to try the geography
games with my 7th grade students. There are also language arts and
math games with plans for even more games in the future.

Hi, group!

I wanted to share the Teaching Today website located at
http://www.glencoe.com/sec/teachingtoday/subject/diff_reading_la.phtml.
Although this site is hosted by Glencoe, it is open access and has a
helpful chart on how to differentiate reading strategies according to
reading level (struggling, general, or advanced) that appears suitable
for any age range. I realize that this doesn't address how to include
technology, but I thought it was worth a gander.

Group!

Check out Web 2.0: Cool Tools for Schools located at
http://cooltoolsforschools.wikispaces.com/. This source is the
mothership of differentiating by process or product as it provides
brief descriptions and links to every web 2.0 tool imaginable:
collaborative, presentation, research, writing, audio, image, music,
mapping, organizing, and the list goes on. I believe there is
something here for all levels and ages. Check it out and let me know
what you think.

The Cool Tools wiki is full of great resources. I love how it is
organized. I often find cool resources but don't have a use for them
right away. Then when I want to use them I forget what they were or
where to find them. With Cool Tools I can plan my lesson and then go
find the tool that will help me accomplish it, whether a survey,
mindmap, or audio tool is needed.

Thanks for sharing,

Hi,
Here are some resources that I found and have seen in the past. Sorry
I am so late in posting - it's been a very busy week-end. =)

Resource 1: http://members.shaw.ca/priscillatheroux/differentiating.html

This site gives lesson plans and ideas on how to integrate technology
into differentiated instruction plans.

Resource 2: http://www.sedl.org/pubs/tec26/classtech.html

This site gives some great lesson plans for all grade levels on how to
use technology to help differentiate instruction.

Resource 3: http://www.eht.k12.nj.us/~Jonesj/Differentiated%20Instruction/1%20DI%20Strategies.htm

This is a site that gives teachers many ideas of activities and
strategies to try in all grade levels in order to differentiate in the
classroom successfully.

Resource 4: http://www.discoveryeducation.com/search/page/-/-/lesson-plan/technology/index.cfm

This is a site that I found has some really neat lesson plans – using
technology. There are various lesson plans for all grade levels on a
variety of topics.
