I'm looking for guidance on what everyone wants to do for our chat
assignment this week. We could use google chat but I believe everyone
must have a gmail account. Does anyone know differently?

Otherwise, we could use one that doesn't require accounts such as
http://todaysmeet.com/ That has a transcript feature so we could send
it on to professor wolsey. Let me know your preferences and I will get
it set up.

Also what day and time would work for everyone? I'm not really open
until the weekend.

So...here are the questions I need your input on:

1. What chat feature do we want to use?
2. What day and time can you meet? (Let's use MST since we have to use
that for Walden)

Thanks for your help and I look forward to chatting with everyone!

Hi,
I am fine with "todaysmeet" to use as our chat assignment. I can do
it Saturday morning or pretty much anytime on Sunday. I have my son's
b-day party at my house at 2:00 MST time (it's 3:00 central time so I
think I got that right). I would prefer Sunday due to the party, but
if you would like to do it Saturday morning I can make that work too.
I have some flexibility.

I am not familiar with "todaysmeet" but I can take a look at it. I would prefer Sunday, too because I have several things going on Saturday. I am free whenever on Sunday and I'm on EST so I would be 2 hours ahead. Are we supposed to be completing these assignments by a certain time?

Hello all. This Sunday is a little difficult unless it is in the morning. Unfortunately I'm eastern time zone so that makes morning for the other time zones afternoon for me. I have a family gathering at 1pm eastern time. I apologize, weekends are usually quite busy for me.
Let me know what I need to do.

Hi Everyone,
I am good with either Saturday or Sunday but it would need to be in the morning or up until noon. I am on EST . Keep me posted. Thanks!

Thought I would share this with you all. Looks like what we have to do - or at least one example of what someone else did:

Okay 2 items based on this discussion:

1. I would say that Sunday morning at 9 am eastern time would work
best. (That's 6 am for me here on the west coast but at least I'll get
it out of the way!) If this absolutely does not work for you please
let us know immediately but replying here.

2. I have used Skype but never with a large group. Will that work?
Otherwise, I will send out a link for a http://todaysmeet.com/ room
where we can all go on Sunday morning.

Thank you everyone!

Sarah,

I am flexible on Sunday and will make sure I'm available for whichever time works best for all.  Also, I prefer todaysmeet.

Thank you so much for taking control of this for us!

That time works for me. I will plan on it unless I hear otherwise.
