1.In my opinion, yes, technology takes a little time It doesn't take as
long as you think it might take. There will always be new technology
for people to learn with. Technology (in my opinion) should make
teaching easier and maybe a bit more exciting for everyone to learn
about stuff they never learned before. Its also easier to change some
of the information that lets say a textbook or a encyclopedia has to
offer. Technology is what makes us understand things a little easier
for people to learn stuff. Yeah it is expensive but sometimes
technology contains more information than the average textbook or
encyclopedia. Some people might think this is babbling but when i
didn't understand a certain subject or had interest in a certain
subject that i couldn't find in a book i turned to the internet (for
example i didn't know why we needed to get our tonsils out or what
they were used for until i searched it up or how exactly does the
body's immune system work). All in all if you're deciding on the pros
and cons about technology technology has a lot more pros than cons
when using it for a educational purpose. Hell its even helped me on
studying for some test. I'm a high school student and i think
education should have more of a technology based teaching for the fact
that almost all jobs would require some technological background don't
wanna go any further for the fact that i can go on and on about this
subject.
2.For me media is a powerful tool not only to disseminate
information, knowledge & entertain but also influence
opinion.Entertainment & fun is a part of learning to enable a child to
imbibe information & knowledge better in an informal environment when
a child's ability to assimilate concepts are better than a formal
environment.
Every teacher has his/her own methodology to instruct. It therefore is
an innovative method that a teacher employs to give better result &
performance than in a rigid environment.
3.My comment about the ET in the comprehensive school is a state
school that does not select its intake on the basis of academic
achievement or aptitude. This is in contrast to the selective school
system, where admission is restricted on the basis of a selection
criteria. The term is commonly used in relation to the United Kingdom,
where comprehensive schools were introduced in 1958. It corresponds
broadly to the German Gesticulate and to the high school in the United
States and Canada. About 90% of British pupils attend comprehensive
schools.
Most comprehensives are secondary schools for children between the
ages of 11 to at least 19, but in a few areas there are comprehensive
middle schools, and in some places the secondary level is divided into
two, for students aged 11 to 14 and those aged 14 to 19, roughly
corresponding to the US middle school (or junior high school) and high
school, respectively.
4.As a future teacher we all know students very noisy classrooms are a
daily occurrence, and with the help of microphones, students are able
to hear their teachers more clearly. Children learn better when they
hear the teacher clearly. The benefit for teachers is that they no
longer lose their voices at the end of the day.An interactive
whiteboard that provides touch control of computer applications. These
enhance the experience in the classroom by showing anything that can
be on a computer screen. This not only aids in visual learning, but it
is interactive so the students can draw, write, or manipulate images
on the interactive whiteboard.
