Class,
I believe that I have discovered two issues with the .Pub in question.
1) The document is actaully coming through as a zip file (even though it says .epub). When using myeBookMaker, downloading the epub file and emailing should work just fine. But, when using Calibre, you will need to be careful to unzip the file or locate the exported .epub file prior to sending it.
2) Do not try to open the ePubs from the gMail App. It doe not do a good job of letting you choose an appropriate app to do so - a newly found and slightly significant flaw in the product. Use regular Mail App, pre installed by Apple, and you will be much happier with the result.
