Hey everyone,

I apologize it took me to write a while, I've been sick with a really bad cold since Friday.

I tried to divided the group paper as best as I could. Please take a look at it and see if you agree or disagree. I know there are easier parts to assign, like the last two, but I did not think it wise to separate the "activities" part.

Now, we have to find a way to distribute these assignment.

We could either choose a color right now, or we can let faith decide and I put these in a basket and we choose one.

Please let me know, as soon as you can. I want to get started on it to get it out the way, and also have time to put the paper together and so that we can all review it.

Thanks,

GAE

Hi Karen,

I think "strategy instruction" means any learning or memory strategies that are thought directly by the teacher.

For instance, for behaviorism:

Rehearsal (say it over and over again in your head, like songs)
Mnemonics
Dual Coding

Take a look at your "Behaviorist Teaching Techniques" powerpoint (SLIDE 3)

For constructivism (they include Teaching Techniques, Power Point Constructivist Techniques Slide 4))

Advance organizers
Discovery/Guided Discovery
Modeling
Coaching
Scaffolding
Inquiry learning
Cooperative Learning

At least that's what I think, we need to ask.

At least that's what I think, we should ask tomorrow!!

Hey everyone,

Sorry for taking so long to respond. I'll take care of part 1 (the portion in red). I'll send it in by this weekend.
