Hi

I have seen some of the list of places to shop. Anyone know who has
the biggest selection. I take the bus, and live on the west end. I
know of kinnikinnik's but am only off Sun/Mon when they are closed.

Hi,
I also live in the West end. A good place to go is Ben's Deli on Stony
Plain Road, at least for bread (they carry Udi's) and a few other products.
The owner has celiac himself and is always bringing in new items and he is
very enthusiastic! If you ask for the gluten free areas, I promise you you
will get a lot of help! Also, the Safeway at Meadowlark Shopping Center
carries Udi's bread and Kinnikinnick cookies, etc. Also the London Drugs at
West Edmonton Mall carries a lot of gluten free snack foods as well as some
cereals (even Rice Chex) and they tend to have some good sales. Not sure
exactly which area you live in, but I hope this will help! (The Save- On
Foods in Mayfield Common also has a number of Gluten free items). If you
ever go down to Whyte Ave, Planet Organic is good, especially for flours, if
you bake. The have a big variety of gluten free products, too, although they
often are a little more expensive.

Happy Shopping! Kathy Hoffman
