Subject: Boston Pizza

Hi Joan,
Last night I bought 2  G.F. pizza's from the South Common rest. I ate 3 pieces at 8P:M and I woke up at 3A:M
with a bad pain. IN fact I still have a little pain after taking lots of Mylanta and tums.
I plan to go talk to the chef and manager tomorrow. Maybe you could put these on the celiac google. I tried but it
came back.

Just thought I should pass this on.

I have seen reviews and information on Pazzo Pazzo for quite some time. They have been advertising gluten free availabe and the gluten free planet has them listed also as having gluten free with sauces being adaptable to gluten free. So, for our anniversary my husband made reservations to take me there. He also verified that they have gluten free available.

When we arrived, we asked for gluten free menu and they did not have one, but we were told that the server would know what I can have.
So, we waited. Ten minutes later, our server arrived with a basket of bread. When I said I need to know what is gluten free, she did not know, and left for another 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, we were reading the menu and I had picked out a couple of options so I would know what would be appealing. Almost everything on the menu is based off a tomato or cream sauce. So I pick a tomato and a cream option.

When the server finally arrived, she told me I can have pesto or garlic and olive oil. Both the tomato and the cream contains gluten and cannot be adapted. She was very unappologetic about the false advertising and false claims given. Pesto is not even on the menu! We chose not to eat there and left.

So, Unless you want to have 2 options only for your romantic dinner, I would not recommend this. And I believe they are very misleading in their claims.

I don't expect that restaurants must cater to my gluten free needs exclusevily, but I never would have wanted to go there without hearing thier claims.

Hi Shawna,
Thank you very much for sharing your experience of this restaurant. I imagine that, as well, you have let the Gluten Free Planet know this as well because this would be important feedback for them. I have forwarded your e-mail to our Board members for their information. Once again, thanks for sharing this with us.
