What about those 100 trolley buses, worth MILLIONS, which Edmonton
Transit allows to just sit and rust, preferring to use those stinky
diesel buses instead? Even been in one of those diesels as it barely
makes it up Bellamy Hill? I note that the trolley lines, once again, are
connected to the Southgate Transit centre. Question: Why don't we see
some trolley buses run to Southgate?
What do you think of the transit system in general these days now that
you've tried it out in the last year or two?
Layton is at least local. Maybe they could do better by not pandering to
right wing simpletons who listen to Dr Laura. There is a few radio hours
better served by playing commercials.

Lexx Law #10: Stanley Tweedle shall never lose his hat.
What about the left-wing lib wusses who drool over the CBC AM on Sunday
afternoon during Cross Country Check up?

Wouldn't know. People across the political spectrum listen to CBC. Busy-body
simpletons listen to Dr Laura, unless you listen just to see how stupid the
average American radio listener seems to be.

I suspect to somebody who was still hung up on the notion that their god
created humans as his own exclusive chew toy, the discovery of other
sentient life would be a rude shock, somewhat like a three-year-old
experiences when Mom comes home with a new baby.

CJCA has hired John Short, who will be doing a sports open-line show
from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., in direct competition with Bryan Hall.
Sharx needs a low-floor bus so he can get on with his walker.

Uh, Bradburn never had a late night talk show. Sounds like you have been
riding the trolleys a bit too much!!

What the Hell are you talking about? He NEVER left UseNet. He just has

I rather enjoy her show... As for the commercials they play during her show
(and many others), I could care less for them... Especially:
- the speed reading ones
- the "worldwide precious metals" crap
I rather like him... Sure, he has some pretty obnoxious opinions once in a
while, but hey -- I shouldn't agree with everything anyone says.
I also enjoy listening to Dr. Laura point out to moral illiterates how
self-serving their behavior often is. After all, NO ONE forces them to
phone her show. The fact that hundreds of stations carry her show means
that a LOT of people are listening. Too bad they sometimes try to shoot
the "messenger"..

Messenger? A self-serving right-wing born-again-Jew hypocrite? Get real
already. Just because you are a right wing knee-jerker, doesn't mean you
have to pretend to like ALL right-wing assholes.

When there is evidence, no one speaks of faith. We do not speak of faith
that two and two are four or that the earth is round. We only speak of faith
when we wish to substitute emotion for evidence.
