I need to project a laptop display (VGA) up on a
screen or wall. What are people using for this
these days? Is there a 1024x768 device?
Anyone have any experience with portable LED
projectors? Anyone have something they want to sell?

TIA

I use something like this Optoma SVGA DLP Multimedia Data Projector (ES522).
To do a 60" projection with a LED projector you'd need to be in a almost
black room. To do a decent presentation in a darkened room you need about
3000 lumens, the lighter the room the more lumens you'll need. I get a
decent 80" image in a darkened office with 2500. definitly a try it before
you buy it. Buying used is OK but remember that most bulbs can run $400+
and last about 2000 hrs.
