hi all

hope your minors are going good

word games will tentatively be on 23rd feb. details will be finalised right after the minors

this is also a reminder to the 3rd rep group for their non-comp

i guess treasure hunt is what we all want

you can also think of a mock UN if you want - sam might help you out with that

the date - i see the best possible date as thursday, 19th feb 

this is distant enough from the iit pd and the minors

so lemme know asap if this is the final date

that also means you will have to start publicity - so get a poster designed during the minors otherwise you wont be able to put it up on time

i think a mock un will be better as we cannot effectively conduct treasure hunt on 19th taking into consederation the amount of time left

i dont really agree with that phalgun

besides publicity, which is common for all events, there is nothing about the t-hunt which would take time

it is only about locating places, then making clues/passwords for those places

these things only require creativity and not time

i would prefer t-hunt because it is a huge event - be effective publicity, u can gather well over 200 people

the advantage of mock un is that it hasnt been seen since 2 years, but then it is not really a 'fun event' as such

so discuss it over

if u want, i can personally help u with making the event (though i'd rather want to participate :P  )

sayan we cannot have it earlier because of sharman's btp and because pareek asked me not to clash it with the hindi debating event (20-22). further, we obviously want to keep it distant from iitpd for obvious reasons

yes

we do not have holidays on thu or fri

both are regular working days
