Dear EdLambders,

You might be interested to know that the deadline for the Scala Symposium 2016 has been extended by a week. You can find more info on the website http://conf.researchr.org/track/scala-2016/scala-2016. It's the perfect venue to publicise your open-source projects written in Scala :)

Best wishes,
Ricardo

Subject: [Scala Symposium 2016] Submission deadlines extended by a week.

Dear Ricardo,

hope you are doing well. This is to inform you that we have decided to
extend the deadline for both abstracts and submissions for the Scala
Symposium by 1 week. The new deadlines are:

  * Abstract submission: EXTENDED to July 25th, 2016
  * Paper submission: EXTENDED to Aug 1st, 2016
  * Paper notification: September 5th, 2016
  * Camera ready: September 23rd, 2016

All deadlines use the "Anywhere on Earth" (AoE) time zone:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anywhere_on_Earth

We take this opportunity to once again ask you to encourage your
colleagues/students to submit. We are in particular interested in student
talks (demos/talks that are 5-10 minutes long): we have been able to secure some sponsor money that will help us cover registration and travel costs for student speakers.

Have a great day,
Manohar
