Hi folks,

Our February speaker is Jeremy Singer from the University of Glasgow.
Thanks once again to Dave Archer, Mike Moran and Skyscanner for
hosting us at their swanky HQ!

When: 6:30pm, Tuesday 9th Feburary.
Where: Skyscanner, 15 Lauriston Place. Map: https://goo.gl/s3ciZd

Title: Developing a Haskell MOOC

The Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is the latest trend in higher
education, exposing university learning and teaching to anyone on the
net. At Glasgow, we are developing a MOOC to teach Haskell to
non-functional (!) programmers. Our #haskellmooc is due to launch in
September 2016. In this talk I will give some background, preview our
learning materials and hope to garner feedback from the audience.

A reminder folks that the University of Glasgow are launching a
Haskell MOOC later in the year. Jeremy Singer is presenting a preview
of the course materials at tonight's EdLambda. He wants your feedback,
and tonight is a good opportunity to provide that feedback.

From 6:30pm, Skyscanner's offices, 15 Lauriston Place. Map:

Skyscanner are kindly sponsoring with pizza and beer.
