Our Canine

Dear Friends and Readers,

I sent you a couple of pics when, three months ago, Ron and I married. Since then, we have acquired Wooffie, a young border collie—really still a pup, less than a year old, very energetic and needing a lot of attention. Ron regularly takes her for long runs on isolated roads, where she skips alongside the car he drives. Attached is a pic of the pup.

We are preparing to leave for California, taking our canine companion with us. Once there, we’ll take on two weeks of house- and dog sitting for my youngest and his family. Their pooch is a yellow lab who is friendly and knows me well. I used to visit with my Abby dog who, sadly, is no longer with us. How will Wooffie fit in? I expect few problems. Ditto for my new husband, who’ll be meeting Andy’s wife and offspring for the first time—he met Andy last year on a hunting trip.
