EDITor version 3.0 beta available

Dear Subscribers,

We would like to inform you, that a beta version of the EDITOR
(formerly known as EDIT Taxonomic Desktop Editor) is available for
download. This version is a preview of the upcoming version 3, that
will be released by the end of September.

Major changes:
- Completely overhauled property editing facility
- Ability to edit almost all CDM data for all objects
- Improved description editing
- Improved media handling
- Improved stability

Please download the latest version through the bundlesite (http://
wp5.e-taxonomy.eu/cdm-setups/) and let us know what you think. If you
run into problems or encounter any software bugs, please let us know
as well.

An OS X version already exists. Unfortunately there is a bug under OS
X when using drag and drop in the name editor that crashes the
application. Mac version will be released when that bug is fixed, but
unfortunately that is not a priority at the moment.
