Parent Council meeting: Wednesday, 4/13, at 5:30 pm

Dear Parents,

Our next parent council meeting will take place Wednesday evening:

Edison K8 School Parent Council meeting
Wednesday, April 13th
5:30 - 7:00 pm
Room #111 (across from the main office)
60 Glenmont Road
Brighton, MA 02135

As usual, child care for school-aged children will be provided downstairs in the
gymnasium and cafeteria.

There are at least four agenda items to be discussed:

1. Proposal to swap rooms between the elementary music classroom and the library

2. Fundraiser: Create baskets for the raffle at the June 4th Spring Fling

3. Grant proposal(s): Boston College's Allston-Brighton Community Fund grants
are due May 6th:
(a) Up to $3,000 for community organizations and/or projects
(b) Up to $25,000 for beautification projects

4. SPC/SSC by-laws: initiate annual process for revising/approving the by-laws
