School uniform survey: Please Vote!

[Edison K-8 School Parent Council]

Dear Parents,

Every year the parents and staff of the Edison K8 School must decide if the
school will have a mandatory school uniform for the following year.

Please follow this link to vote on whether or not you would like to have a
required school uniform for next school year:

Some background:

When the Edison K8 School merged in 2009, parents and staff decided to adopt a
mandatory school uniform policy. Parents and staff decided in 2010 to renew the
school uniform policy for the current school year.

All students are currently required to wear a navy blue t-shirt with the name of
the school on the front. Every student starting in 2010 received one free
shirt; additional shirts cost $5 (short-sleeve) or $7 (long-sleeve).

The final decision on a school uniform policy will be made by the Edison K8
School Site Council -- which is comprised of both parents and staff of the
school -- in its meeting on Thursday, June 13th at 7:00 am.
