Walk in the Pentlands - Saturday 17th August

Hi,

Rebecca will be leading a walk in the Pentlands on Saturday 17th August with details as follows:

 

Meeting at Fairmilehead @ 9am

The walk will start from the Thriepmuir Car Park and go over the Kips and Scald Law to return via Harlaw and the Thriepmuir reservoir.

The walk is approx. 11 miles

Height gained: 600m

Anticipated time taken will be 5-6 hours.

Please could you let her know your ramblers number, or whether this is one of your first walks with the group and also provide details of any medical conditions she should be aware of and whether you have a car and can offer lifts.

If the weather remains fair then the going should be good, but if there is heavy rain then it could turn boggy.

Please ensure that you bring adequate and suitable clothing and footwear and also a packed lunch and drinks.
