Walk - Abbey St Bathans Sunday 30th June

Hi All,

I'm leading a walk on Sunday, 30th June around Abbey St. Bathans.

 

B walk. 8 miles with optional ascent of 325m.

Duration approx four hours.

Meet at Fairmilehead for 9:30am.

 

This is a lovely walk through woodland with an optional climb up onto Cockburn Law; which has stunning views from the top, being the highest point in the area. The walk also includes a well preserved Broch, a beautiful gorge and finishes with a lovely tea shop at the end. 

The walk is not difficult and the last section is along roads, but it can be muddy in sections and with the weather being so unpredictable, please ensure that you bring waterproofs, walking boots, warm clothing and a packed lunch and something to drink.
