Hello all! I have booked fifteen spaces at the Invergarry Lodge hostel for Friday/Saturday night (21st & 22nd June).
www.invergarrylodge.co.uk This hostel comes highly recommended by lots of walkers. Located in the Great Glen in the heart of the Scottish highlands, it's a great base to explore the hills from. It's the nearest hostel accommodation to the Loch Quoich munros which I would hope to do over the weekend. Or at least some of them...! Glenshiel and the Grey Corries are also less than an hour away.
There are four munros by Loch Quoich and I'm most keen to do these three.
Gleouraich and Spidean Mialach

http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/fortwilliam/sgurramhaoraich.shtml There are fifteen places available and it is £34 per person for the two nights plus some food money if we cook on Saturday night. Drivers and walk leaders especially welcome. I'd hope to drive up and arrive Friday evening, walk on the Saturday and Sunday and drive back Sunday afternoon/early evening.
The hostel itself is situated on a single track road but within striking distance of the Invergarry Hotel, so while I thought we could cook a communal meal on Saturday night, we have the option of going to the hotel for a drink or even food if people prefer.
Could you email me at katr...@hotmail.co.uk if you are interested - the weekend is open to EYW and EYW+ members. (Please include your Ramblers membership number). I am on holiday for the next two weeks but I will contact everyone after 10th May to either ask for payment to secure your place or to confirm you are on the waiting list.
It should be a great weekend and I'll keep everything crossed for good weather and no midges!
Hope to see you there!
