Walk Sunday 5th May - Beach walk from North Berwick to Longniddry

Hi All,
I'm leading a walk on Sunday 5th May from North Berwick back to Longniddry. It's about a 11-12 mile walk keeping to the beach as much as possible, so whilst there are periods of walking on soft sand, for the most part it's on paths and firm sand.

We will be taking the train departing from Waverley to North Berwick, departing @ 10:33 and arriving @11:06. There is a bus alternative if anyone would prefer to use that option and I can provide details if required.

I anticipate the walk taking 4-5 hours depending on how leisurely we take it and there is a pub (and an ice-cream van) at the end for sustenance, depending of course on how long we take and the timings of the train back.

Please also ensure that you come with adequate footwear and clothing in case it should dare to rain on us, plus food to keep you going.

The walk is a lovely one, with great views walking through an SSI area and nature reserve so please come and join me.
