Hi All,

Please see details of the walk this Saturday being led by Iain.

 

Rhymer's Walk - 13 km / 8 miles, approximately 5 hours

 

Circular walk, Grade B, start/finish at Melrose Abbey, easy ascent between Mid and North Eildon Hills, or can extend to take steep path to top of Mid Hill to take in the views.  Return via Bowdenmoor, Cauldshiels Loch, then final descent through Forestry at Rhymer's Glen.  Choice of places to eat and drink on return to Melrose

 

Meet Fairmilehead 08:30, approx 1 hour drive to Melrose.

Could you please provide details of your Ramblers membership, or whether this is your first walk with the group. Could you also advise of any medical problems if applicable.

Make sure you wear suitable clothing and footwear and bring a packed lunch and drink along.
