Dear All

I am leading a walk on Sunday 10^th August. If the weather is good this will include two fine munros near Tyndrum: Stob Ghabhar and Stob a'Choire Odhair. It should take about 7-8 hours with 1200 total ascent and 10 miles distance (Grade A), though there is the option to just do one munro if we are tired or slow. On a clear day there will be fine views. However, if the weather is not predicted to be good in that area, I will find an alternative walk of equal calibre somewhere sunnier. If there is no good weather anywhere (as can happen...), I'll propose a lower level walk closer to Edinburgh.

Remember to bring full waterproofs and plenty to drink and eat.

We will meet on Swanston Drive beside the (now bulldozed) Fairmile Inn at 8am (NOT 8.30am as listed on Ramblers website).
