Some additional tags have implemented.

- rK (rarely-used kanji form) - in the kanji field to indicate a form
which although neither obsolete nor irregular is simply not used much
(e.g. 可き)
- bra (Brazilian dialect) - along with the regulars like osb, ksb, etc.
- tm (trademark) - to indicate that the English gloss is a trademarked
term. If the Japanese term is trademarked the [tradem] is used at the
sense level.

Also the [litf] tag has been changed to [form] for formal or literary terms.

In JMnedict there are two additional name types:
doc - document
group - group (e.g. music group, band, etc.)

I just came across a "tm" entry and found that it's not included in the inline documentation for g_type.
Maybe you could at it there or alternatively add all of the g_type tags to the entities inside the header file?

<!-- The g_type attribute specifies that the gloss is of a particular
type, e.g. "lit" (literal), "fig" (figurative), "expl" (explanation).
        -->

Best regards,
Martin

That comment at the start of the DTD is only to explain the context and use of the entities. The full list of valid tags is later in the DTD and is generated from the dictionary database. "tradem" is there.

Yes, and sorry if my message wasn't very precise.

"tradem" is part of the entity definitions inside the DTD. However "tm" (as well as "lit", "fig", "expl") is not.

Yes, it's a bit confusing having two trademark flags:
- <field>&tradem;</field> which is used when the Japanese term
is/based on a trademark, e.g. エレクトーン, 黒猫
- <gloss g_type="tm"> when a specific English gloss is a trademark, e.g. Velcro
Entities such as &tradem; need to be in the DTD but the attribute
values such as "tm" and "fig" don't.

I'll see if at some future stage the attribute values for things like
g_type can be added to the DTD as comments.
