Dear JMdictDB World-Wide Operations Center,

I'm getting this error when trying to submit a new entry (not registerd,
without login):

> We're sorry but your page request could not be processed due to the

I'm creating the new entry here:

https://www.edrdg.org/jmwsgi/edform.py?svc=jmdict

And this is the URL throwing the error:

https://www.edrdg.org/jmwsgi/edsubmit.py

I tried a few times within several hours, always with the same result.

Can you send a screenshot including the kanji, reading and meaning boxes. Maybe send it directly to me.

Or if it's easier just copy and paste the text from those three boxes. Feel free to cc me (smcg4191 at mtneva . com) on it too.

A further thought...

I was able to replicate the problem you saw, with additional info from the log files, by:

Kanji: 買い増す
Reading: かいます
Meaning: [1][v1,v1] ...something...

Is it possible you entered the part-of-speech tag (v1) twice?

The response is still a bug in the software, it should respond more informatively, so I'll get it fixed. Thanks for reporting it (assuming that was the problem.)

Thank you so much!

I would send you the texts, but you were faster. Yes, I mistakenly
entered "[v1,v1]" instead of "[v1,vt]". After correcting it, it worked
OK.
