Greetings from Antigua!
We are nearing the end of our Guatemalan adventures, and already getting excited about fresh local foods in Chicago, new recipes from abroad, and upcoming events for your culinary enjoyment.
Share pickups resume this weekend! On Saturday 1/18, we will kick off our discounted 10-week Winter Share program, as well as our normal week-to-week produce and fruit offerings.
The menu proposal is in for our Oye! Guatemala dinner on 1/31. Read below for all the details...
Finally, please join us at the Good Food Festival & Conference in March (3/14 & 3/15!). We're excited to be presenting a series of micro-sessions in the Good Food Commons again, and would like to extend a special invitation to EA members with special skills they'd like to present. Got a 20-minute specialty? Check out the details below.
***Please Note:Beginning in 2014, we’ve decided we need to raise the price of veggie shares to $25, but keep the fruit shares at $10. The costs of food have risen drastically since EA’s inception while our cost to you has not. The $5 added on will slightly increase the size of the share & allow for greater amounts each of more items.**
We'd love to hear your thoughts. We put together a quick survey for you to provide us with some really helpful feedback as EA grows and transitions. Thank you in advance! It is only 12 short questions, and should only take 3-5 minutes. http://bit.ly/II2jmm
See you this Saturday! Reserve your shares now at ediblealchemyfoods.com/order.
