Good Afternoon, all!

Produce shares are back for December! We hope that you had a splendid holiday, we sure did.  We stuffed our faces full of delicious, made-with-love food ; though are quite glad that the leftover supply is beginning to dwindle and we can get back to lots of fresh veggies and fruits to cleanse our bodies of the delightful abundance.

We're ramping up for a LOT of awesome events over the next couple of weeks!! we sincerely hope that you can make it out to more than one of them.  And, spread the word!  The more the merrier, indeed.  ;)

Also-  January share subscriptions are coming!  We've decided to offer multi-week share subscriptions for your ease in ordering for winter shares.  You'll be able to order any extras you want through the webstore to be included in your weekly share, and we'll be flexible in case you know you'll be out of town for a week.  Details will be coming out early next week!  Look forward to it!

Join Andrea of Edible Alchemy & learn to make your own body care products. You can make perfect personalized products in a jiffy for those you love…. or just for yourself.  This class will be fully hands-on, focusing on a few basic recipes that can be easily replicated for friends and family. We’ll try out everything we make in class. You’ll leave with samples of each and detailed recipes on how to make your favorites en masse at home! We’ll focus on using ingredients that are mostly available at stores here in Chicago, and can help point you to the perfect places to pick up what you need to make these great gifts. Some bulk ingredients will be available for students to purchase afterwards.

You’ll learn to make:  Cinnamon Coffee Sugar Scrub, Scented-as-you-Wish Body Butter, Lavender Herb Deodorant, Herbal Bath & Closet Sachets, And have a great time doing it!!  BYOB encouraged.

Scandanavia is the cluster of countries sharing a common culture in northernmost Europe: Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland.  Land of alpine tundra, cold long winters, bright long days of summer, and lots of delicious dairy, berries, cakes, and warming drinks.  As we approach the long nights of winter, we celebrate with foods from even colder and darker regions.  Breaking bread (with jam and butter!) together to celebrate the year's cycle once more.  

Come join us at our table, bring your friends & meet some new ones.
