Hello there,

I hope you will not mind too much if I send you something that it's
not related to food? It's just that this show is so incredible that I
wouldn't want you to miss this opportunity Many thanks Fra

Irresistible - Call of the Sirens

Looking for something a bit different to do with your family this
summer? Then read on…

Irresistible is a symphony of sirens set within the rural beauty of
the Cow & Calf on Ilkley Moor. It’s a large-scale musical experience
that combines warning sirens and choral music with projections on
walls and rocks and dramatic lighting to create a breathtaking and
once-in-a-life-time experience.

It promises a unique, noisy, dramatic and spectacular experience that
will delight children and adults alike.

Like the Transit of Venus there are just six performances in Yorkshire
between 21 and 23 June, before the show transfers to the Capital as
part of London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.

For more details, including video clips and songs from the show,
follow this link to the Irresistible website at
http://www.mind-the-gap.org.uk/irresistible/

The show has been developed by Jez Colborne, working in partnership
with Mind the Gap.

Jez is a singer, musician, actor, siren impersonator and much, much
more. He can turn a cacophony into a symphony; he hears music where
most people hear noise.

There are early evening performances on each day, and family tickets
(2 adults and 2 children) are just £27.00. To book follow this link:

This is an outdoor event, and the theatrical experience starts in
Ilkley town centre … so do read all the information carefully so you
know what to wear and what to expect!

I look forward to seeing you there!

Best wishes

create new work for the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.

Unlimited is the UK’s largest programme celebrating arts, culture and
sport by disabled and deaf people. Unlimited is principally funded by
the Olympic Lottery Distributer and is delivered in partnership
between London 2012, Arts Council England, the Scottish Arts Council,
Arts Council of Wales, Arts Council of Northern Ireland and the
British Council.
