Dear Folks,
I just posted a long list of foods to plant in March and gardening info. Also information on my free lecture coming up this Saturday.
http://edibleherbsandflowers.blogspot.com/2016/02/march-planting-tips-and-information.htmlI received a nice simple explanation for a theme garden to work up with your children or grandchildren.
Theme gardens have been around as long as there have been gardens. Herb gardens, tea gardens (all types of plants that be made into teas), Biblical gardens (all the plants mentioned in the Bible), pollinator gardens (for hummingbirds, butterflies and bees) and then there are the ethnic gardens: Greek, Italian, Asian etc. - you get the picture. The most loved vegetables and herbs used in different cultures.
