Dear Folks,

At the Mesa farmers market I get to answer questions about owning
goats. Sadly I do not own my own any more but I get my 'goat fix' by
visiting my friend Kathy's farm or playing with her baby goats a
couple times a year at the MFM where her booth selling her lotions and
soaps made with the goat milk is set up beside me.

Sooooo, I was really pleased to see a class/lecture offered through
the Valley Permaculture Alliance on keeping an urban goat.

The other really wonderful thing about this class is where it is being
held - the Farm At South Mountain - a truly wonderful location in the
valley.

You must pre-register and sign up (free) at the VPA. Donation request
on the day of the lecture is $15 and worth every penny.

The joys and benefits of owning goats is worth learning how to do it
well and responsibly.

Have a great day,

Catherine
