Dear Folks,

It is going to be nasty for a few days here in the desert.

If you have never sprouted beans, grains etc. or have not done so in a while -- time to get growing!

Indoor sprouting is easy, fast and provides easily digestible fresh vegetables for your salads, soups and stews.  I toss sprouts into soups and stews at the last minute or place in the bowl and then add the hot food.

Read up on sprouting corn - yes corn - http://edibleherbsandflowers.blogspot.com/2016/02/sprouted-corn-for-salads.html

. . .

Make sure to cover and protect your tender plants.  Hold off sowing or planting anything else until next week.
