A 'tempest' is coming to San Francisco's McLaren Park...

and it starts tomorrow!

First performances of Free Shakespeare in the Park’s production of The Tempest in San Francisco's McLaren Park are this Saturday, Sunday, and Labor Day Monday (August 31, Sept 1 & Sept 2) at 2 pm.

The Tempest, considered one of Shakespeare's last works, contains elements of comedy, romance, and drama. Director Rotimi Agbabiaka looks to highlight the themes of forgiveness and recovering from loss found in the play.

Bring your family, friends, a blanket and a picnic and immerse yourself in a world where magic, betrayal, and redemption unfold under the open sky in the sylvan setting of Jerry Garcia Amphitheater in McLaren Park!
