Hi All,  I am not available those 2 days that Lick Willmerding students could volunteer for workdays in our greenspace.  Last year they were fantastic as were their teachers who came with them.  Please let me know if there is a day November 16 and/or 17 from 1-3pm when you could supervise the work on the hillside.  I can advise you in advance on what needs to be done in our garden.  DPH provides the tools.  Groups of students would need to organzied to certain activities. 

It is a lot of fun to work with these students!!   best, pam

SF Public Works is partnering with Lick Wilmerding High School again this year to host gardening workdays. The students are available to volunteer on Thursday, November 16 and Friday, November 17 between 1 PM – 3 PM.

 

This is a great opportunity for your street park to get a lot done in a few hours. If you are interested in reserving a workday with 20-30 volunteers, please reply to this email with the date(s) you prefer and some of the goals for the volunteers by Monday, October 30 at 3 PM. Please discuss this opportunity with your fellow collaborators first. You may pick both dates. First come, first serve.
