Congressman Mullin secures around $12.8M for District 15 - including the Purple Playground at Crocker Amazon!

Millions for child care, interchanges, bus stops, grade separations, trails and more was secured for congressional District 15, by U.S. Rep. Kevin Mullin, D-South San Francisco.
Mullin’s office announced that $12,751,982 million in Community Project Funding will go directly toward an array of projects.
“Partnering with local communities here at home and delivering for our district is my top priority as a Member of Congress,” Mullin said in a press release. “I am proud to announce that this funding will have a direct impact on the lives of so many people in our community by expanding preschool programs, improving our transportation systems, addressing public safety needs and more. This funding will help with some of the most needed and valuable government services in our community, and I’m eager to see this funding benefit families across our district.”
Burlingame will get $3.15 million for the Caltrain Broadway Grade Separation Project; Daly City will get $1.1 million for the Vista Grande Drainage Basin Improvement Project; East Palo Alto will get $2 million for Woodland Avenue safety improvements; Millbrae will get $250,000 for Sawyer Camp Trail to Bay connections; Redwood City will get $850,000 for the Woodside Road/Highway 101 interchange; SamTrans will get $250,000 for bus stop amenity improvements; San Bruno will get $850,000 for Huntington Avenue bicycle and pedestrian improvements; San Carlos will get $500,000 for the Highway 101/Holly Street interchange and overcrossing; San Francisco will get $960,000 for Visitacion Valley Family Center improvements and $250,000 for the Crocker Amazon Playground-Purple Playground project; San Mateo will get $1.2 million for the Lakeshore Community Day Care Center and $550,000 for Real Time Information Center Technology; and South San Francisco will get $850,000 for the Westborough Early Childhood Education Center.
