I'm sending an XDR message with an attached CCDA from the tool (gold sample) to the XDR Test 1 endpoint.  When I view the ETT logs I see the Request which looks good and I get "success" in the Response, however in the C-CDA Validation section I'm getting: CCDA Document Type: Gold_Samples_For_Practice
Service Error Message: The service has encountered an error parsing the document. Please verify the document is valid against schema and contains a v3 namespace definition: org.eclipse.emf.ecore.xml.type.impl.XMLTypeDocumentRootImpl cannot be cast to org.eclipse.mdht.uml.cda.DocumentRoot

Can someone please provide some more information on this?  Everything appears to be good with the request and response and I'm using a gold sample CCDA from the tool.

thank you!

It looks like the attachment in the XDR message is not proper from the error message it is not coming across as an XML file.

Thanks.  Two documents are actually being sent in…a message document and the CCDA attachment.  Is the tool trying to validate the first document and ignoring the CCDA?

Hi.  Has any more investigation been done with this issue?  I believe what is happening is that our system is sending in a message document (html) followed by the attached CCDA (xml), and I suspect the ETT is tripping on that first (html) document, and presumably ignoring the CCDA document.  I always get the green check mark (showing the request and 'success' response in the logs) so I believe the request is valid.  Thank you.

Chris

We looked into this further and yes the ETT does look at the first attachment for the C-CDA document. Let us know if you can work around by not sending the HTML or if it is problematic.

Thanks

Thanks Dragon.  Unfortunately it is problematic since I have no way of NOT send the message document.

Hi.  Is there an ETA for a software fix, that you would be able to share, that will address the XDR Test 1 parsing error?
Thanks.

Can someone please confirm whether this parsing issue was to be addressed in the recent ETT update?  Dragon's post includes this item "·        Added ability to process multiple C-CDA attachments sent as part of XDR payload."   and the Release Note have a similar, but different item:"Validation is performed only if C-CDA in XDR and XDM sender test"

In any case I retested this (sending a valid XDR payload with an html message attachment and an xml C-CDA attachment) and I continue to get the green check / success response from the tool, but when I look in Logs I don't see the Validation tab anymore (before I was seeing the Validation tab with the parsing error).

Thank you.

Hello,

Can you please try test XDR Test 1 and let us know if this issue has been resolved?  The ETT release 2.0 included an update to ignore the HTML attachment.

Thank you

Yes, I tried it and it does not seem to be working as expected.  Please see my post above from just a few minutes ago.

Attached is a shot of the response tab in the Logs (validation passed), but notice there is no C-CDA Validation tab
