XDM Validator issue for b1 criteria for receive using Edge protocol for SMTP

Hi Team,

We are in the process of ONC certification, appreciate your timely response.

We are facing issues with XDM validator for b1 criteria Please find the details below

When we run the test 9,16,20 and we pick 'Amb' document, we are able to receive it in our inbox and downloaded it.  But, when we upload this document to the XDM validator. It Failed.

We repeated the same test, but this time selected 'Inp' file, it passed.

But, we are supposed to test for 'Amb' only. Please suggest, if this can be fixed in the testing site. Appreciate your timely response.

Hello,
I ran the same tests with the above ZIPs and I am able to pass the XDM Validator.
Both of these files in INP and AMB are the same.
Can you double check if the ZIP is being modified in the first scenario by your server?

Hi Sai,

Thanks for the response. 

It is strange, for me only the file from INP passes. We are very certain we don't have any 'internal server' processing for different files. All files received are treated same on our side.

I have another observation, even by downloading the 'XDM' files directly from the `https://site.healthit.gov/direct/testbycriteria/B1` download criteria link for AMB, and use this downloaded file with the XDM validator shows the  same 'decode zip' error, however, when the critieria file is downloaded for INP and tested against the XDM, it gets validated well. Attached is a screen recording of this observation for your reference.

Hi Sai,

Please hold off on closing this issue — we're still seeing it on our end.

This appears to be an issue with the file used for XDM Ambulatory. As proof, when we download just that file from site.healthit.gov (see attached image) and run it through the XDM validator, we get the exact same error we see when using the file returned during SMTP Test 9, 16, and 20 (Receive) — Paragraph (i)(C), XDM Processing Received via Edge Protocol. Since both cases point to the same problem, we believe the issue lies in the file itself, which appears to be used in both places.

Would it be possible to schedule a meeting to walk through this together? We're in the middle of our certification process and need to get this resolved as soon as possible.

Hello Sai,

Sorry, we were in a test session at that time. I just checked the ZIP file downloaded from that link, and the XDM validation passes. However, when I get the ZIP file from the SMTP Test 9, 16, and 20 (Receive) tests, the validation fails. The same thing happens even when we download the ZIP file directly from the HealthIT site.

It looks like the GitHub repository has different ZIP files than the ones provided by the HealthIT site.

Our entity is Woundtech.
