We are attempting to validate our b1 CCDs against both the Direct Testing tool and the USCDI V3 validator. When validating the same exact document, we are getting different results.
Our generated document (the attached Alice Newman's CCD (3)) passes validation on the USCDI V3 validator on the b1 Ambulatory example 1 scenario, but sending the exact same document to the b1 Direct Testing tool, we get 200+ errors.
All of the errors seemed to be related to the OID we were using as the root of our IDs (2.16.840.1.113883.3.3569.0) seemingly because it ended in .0. We have tried modifying the OID and sending again with the same results - even if the .0 OID is not present anywhere in the document we still get the errors.
Questions:
1. Why are the validation results not matching? Which validator should we be relying on for our b1 certification? If our documents pass the USCDI v3 validator, is that enough?
2. Is our OID the problem? And if so, why did modifying the OID and resending not fix the errors?
