Good Evening
Trying to validate Alice Newman
Validator is wanting SDOH goal to be 161036002- Housing Adequate, however Test Data is wanting 8689-2 History of Social Function.

We have previously been told set patients up with test data, however seems this is not the value the validator is wanting. Does this need to be a test exception?

Additional details here- this is for g9 Alice Newman and for e1-Alice Newman which has test data of History of Social Function in Test Data, yet validator is wanting Housing Adequate.
The b1-Alice Newman Test data seems to be correct in reflecting Housing Adequate with the validator matching.

Hi Aiden.

Posting the Patient Specific Scenario was helpful.

Can you post a screenshot or the text of the error you are getting?

That can help others troubleshoot, reproduce or provide a possible solution.

Posting a snippet of your XML can help as well.

Thanks - Mat

g9: SDOH Goal
Patient PDF/Test Data:  Alice Newman (Ambulatory Patient 1) says: 8986-2 History of Social Function
Fails with
<value xsi:type="CD" code="8689-2" displayName="History of Social function" codeSystem="2.16.840.1.113883.6.96" codeSystemName="SNOMED CT"/>

B1: SDOH Goal-this is validating correctly
Patient PDF /Test Data Alice Newman (Ambulatory Patient 1) says: 161036002- Housing Adequate
Passes with: 101036002- Housing Adequate

Note: I am not able to validate e1 at this time due to an internal issue. So wondering which is correct for g9- Test Data or validator?

thanks for any information.

It doesn't look like the validator message above for g9 copied over: This is the validator error I am getting on g9 for SDOH Goals

Result Description: The comparing Goal Observation data for code 8689-2, Goal Result Code Element Comparison:: Code=161036002, Code System= 2.16.840.1.113883.6.96 do not match the submitted CCDA: Code 8689-2, and CodeSystem= 2.16.840.1.113883.6.96

The LOINC code you mention (8689-2) is simply meant to identify the Type of data you are reporting.    The SNOMED code identifies the specific Client SDOH Goal....The SNOMED is what a user of your EHR would select in the UI.

You can see here, in the HL7 CDA Example.    The <code> includes the LOINC identifying what kind of data is being reported by the specific TemplateID.  This LOINC is something your EHR would automatically include for this Template when it finds SDOH Goal data for the Client.   The <value> includes the SNOMED which a user of your EHR would select...in this case a Goal for  101036002 - indicating that the goal for the Client is to achieve Adequate Housing

Thank you Joe
Confirming that the validator in this case is correct (which is wanting Hosing Adequate) and the Test Data for g9 is wrong (which lists- History of Social Function - which isn't even a Goal).

Thanks and we will let our test proctor know of this test data discrepancy.
