"java.lang.NullPointerException" error

We're seeing a "java.lang.NullPointerException" error occasionally today using the v3 validator here: https://site.healthit.gov/c-cda/uscdi-v3.

I have seen it most often when validating e1 inpatient sample 3 XMLs, and there's a popup that says: "The service has encountered the following error: java.lang.NullPointerException"

Trying again to re-run the validator usually makes it go through without error the second time around, without making any changes to the selected document etc in between attempts.

I have not been able to reproduce this problem.
