Local reveference-ccda-validator cert error connect to healthit.gov

I have a local version of ccda-scorecard and reference-ccda-validator running which appear to be working, however I'm seeing the following errors in the log files.  The validator appears to be reaching out to ccda.healthit.gov for validating LOINC code system values.  I'm sure I can install the cert to correct the error, but is this expected behavior with a local installation, or do I have something configured incorrectly?
