Hello Team,
We are performing ONC Direct Testing (B1 Criteria) using EMR Direct.
Environment:
Direct Address: abc@test.directproject.net
SMTP Server: sandbox.phimail-dev.com
TLS Enabled: Yes
Vendor Role: Edge Sender
Current Status:
SMTP Test 8, 14, and 18 (Send) are passing successfully.
ETT is able to receive messages sent from our Direct address.
SMTP authentication, STARTTLS, and message transmission are working correctly.
Issue:
We are failing SMTP MT Test 46 (Generate Disposition Notification Options Header).
The test requires sending a Direct message to:
However, when our application attempts to send the message through EMR Direct, we receive the following error:
Error: Add recipient failed: FAIL No Direct certificates found for the specified recipient. Please confirm that this is an active Direct address.
Request Payload:
{
"recipient":"wellfo...@james.healthit.gov",
"subject":"Test46",
"text":"Testing SMTP MT Test 46"
}
Questions:
Is wellfo...@james.healthit.gov currently a valid Direct address?
Is a Direct certificate published for the james.healthit.gov domain?
Has anyone recently completed SMTP MT Test 46 successfully using EMR Direct?
Are there any special requirements for certificate discovery or DNS configuration when sending to this address?
If the recipient certificate cannot be discovered, how should Test 46 be completed?
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thank you.
