In the latest release of the pdf test data for Alice Newman (attached)170.315 (b)(1) TOC, USCDI v3
the birth sex should be listed as "Sex" with a codified entry of female 248152002 - SNOMED CT.
The ETT is correctly checking for the snomed CT, however the test data pdf does not represent USCDI v3.
The test data pdf example attached still shows the USCDI v1 value of Birth sex must be coded in accordance with HL7 Version 3 (V3) Standard, Value Sets for AdministrativeGender and NullFlavor attributed as follows: Female. F, Male. M, or Unknown. nullFlavor UNK
Instead of the correct snomed ct required in USCDI v3.
Please update all birth sex test data for USCDI v3 to include the required standard codified entries found at § 170.207(n)(2) Sex must be coded in accordance with, at a minimum, the version of SNOMED CT® U.S. Edition codes specified in § 170.207(a)(1). (This standard is required by December 31, 2025) and is a required Data Element of USCDI v3.
Sex
Documentation of a specific instance of sex and/or gender information.
Applicable Vocabulary Standard(s)
SNOMED International, Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine Clinical Terms (SNOMED CT®) U.S. Edition, March 2022 Release
I quickly checked a few more files, and it appears this data element was missed on all test data PDFs designated for USCDI v3.
Thank you
