B1 SMTP Test 8, 14, 18 (Send) are failing

I tried to send questions to the original thread https://groups.google.com/g/edge-test-tool/c/skg6HLkv4tU/m/7fQbZV7bBAAJ, but it has been locked. Based on Sai's response:

Does this mean that we should perform the following steps for testing?

1. Connect to the ETT SMTP server james.healthit.gov:25 with the credential vendor...@james.healthit.gov/vendortesting123

2. Send a mail to wellf...@ett.healthit.gov with a CCDA attachment.

If that’s correct, it sounds like when using the tool, we should update the profile information to reflect vendor...@james.healthit.gov / vendortesting123, since this process doesn't involve our own direct address.

Could you please clarify this process a bit further?

Yes, you would enter vendor...@james.healthit.gov in "Vendor Email Address" after you send the email.

Hi Kim,

Actually we accomplished the test using our own direct address as below:

However, the instructions under "MORE INFO" are still a bit unclear to me. If we connect to the ETT SMTP server using the credentials vendor...@james.healthit.gov / vendortesting123 and send an email to wellf...@ett.healthit.gov, it seems this process would not involve our Direct services in the testing workflow at all. Also, I noticed that the vendor HISP is marked with a red cross — does this indicate that the vendor HISP did not pass?

The red checkmark merely implies the testing vendor is not a HISP but an EDGE. You should be using the provided credentials and not your direct credentials. This test case is for an edge vendor.
