Hi,
We are receiving validation errors for vital signs when running our sample ccda files through the ETT validator. Vocabulary validation errors for these vital signs were cleared once we updated them, however, we are receiving reference errors.
The issue is that the scenarios (creating continuity of care, creating referral note, creating VDT, etc) use metric units for vital signs. Because our EHR uses US/Imperial system for vital signs, is this the reason the reference errors are occurring in the validator? The attached document shows the errors that were produced.
Is this considered a false negative due to the fact that the scenarios are looking for metric units and values but the submitted C-CDAs are using the imperial system? If so, do we need to speak with our ATL to request a change in data?
Thanks,
Kalena
