An IIT Delhi, Chinmay Agarwal alum first contacted me on facebook for the event. Someone from there team then sent me this mail. The event seems nice. We could maybe even negotiate with them to raise some sponsorship via the event or maybe get an app for us?

Dear Aakash,
My name is Anna Timoshenko and I am organizing the Click Next conference on Design Thinking in February.
I am writing in the behalf of Click Labs a full service design-to-launch mobile apps company.
The ClickNext conference is an initiative to bring together collaborative entrepreneurs who believe and practice design thinking. Design Thinking is a style of thinking that is combined with empathy, creativity and rationality. It is a creative process rather than analytical thinking used in problem solving
The audience is entrepreneurs, thought leaders,average individuals interested in learning experiences, who believe and practice design thinking; press community. The average age is 25+ .
Speakers at the conference will be fonders/CEOs of innovative and designers companies around India.
Please find attached more information about the conference.
We would like to chose IID Delhi as the venue for organizing this conference.
I was wondering if you could provide me the information about requirements to get the space at the university as the venue for Click Next Conference.
As other option, we can be partners if you are interested. In return, we will provide brand awareness, increasing visibility with publicity and etc.

Any updates on this? I mean should we or should we not go for this event?

Ask him about the speakers ?? tell him we are going to conduct a speaker series in January ,, then we can see..
but first check the profile of speakers ..
