i know I am the new guy so I do not want to step on any toes but...Is there a way for people to sign up for sessions they want to see but don't feel comfortable facilitating?

Create the session and in the description, say what you said, here. Bets are, others are interested. And you don't have to know lots about the session topic to facilitate.  Once you get some interested minds together, rich discussion ensues. Just state your position at the outset, and see how many others step up.

• Curing Motivational Deficiencies:We can stop the epidemic of control in schools that demotivates teachers and students
• Things that Suck

Some discussion about great teaching:

• The Challenge: What are 10 methodologies and values all classrooms should exhibit?  A conversation to help shift our organizational mindsets on teaching and learning.
• Problem/Project Based Learning (rumor has it that Susie Boss might just stop in!) 
• Leave your tech at the door

And finally, 

• The Saturday Puzzle
