Hi everyone,

Here's the lunch plan: I'll be placing a delivery order for 30 pizzas with a local Dominos in advance of the 13th. To be clear: This is not enough pizza for everyone (it amounts to 2 slices each for 120 people) but it's all we should spend on lunch. I would think you should hand out tickets or something.

I thought we had donations to cover the cost of lunch? Wasn't the point to make it so people didn't have to leave? Can't we order the day of the event so we know what we need and what kind(s) we want to order? I guess I'm confused.

Vicky

I thought we would ask for contributions at registration too to help cover food so we could feed everyone.

I thought we were doing that too.

Can we get an update on this? Thanks!

We don't have enough money to order any more pizza and it's too much to order the same day. I think taking orders in the morning unnecessarily complicates things.

Certainly, if you want to take donations the day of in order to facilitate a second, smaller, order of additional pizzas, then great. But there's no reason to wait until that day to order what we already know we can afford to buy.

I just got off the phone with Pat from Practical Synergy. He can pick up the rest of the pizzas--it sounds like we need an additional 10-20 pizzas. Does that sound right?

Also, Pat got Nestlé to donate waters for us. We do not need to pick up waters. Woo hoo!

Please let me know if we need Pat to get those pizzas. I don't want to double book pizzas.

Sounds good. I'll order the 30 and Pat can bring 20, and that's enough for 200 people.

We don't need enough pizza for 200 people, though. What's our working number? 130?

If Pat's willing to bring 20 more pizzas I'm sure it will be eaten. Some people might want more than 2 slices.

Pat is ordering and picking up 15 pizzas. He will also bring water.

Cool. That works. Thanks Pat.

FWIW, we probably won't need much water bottles. CEE is providing some with breakfast.

Let me know when/who to forward Paypal funds to. Ok I think that sentence is full of grammatical errors.
