EdcampLA has a Date and Venue!

Greetings all!

It took a bit but we are booked at USC for edcampLA on October 15 for a full day Edcamp! 

Please meet

has joined us as an organizer and please welcome him! As a USC alum he was instrumental in securing our venue. As a USC alum he has shared that they are excited to partner with us. Also we will be sharing with several alumni orgs on the campus with Toutoule's help.

We will have a large conference room for the kickoff and 4 additional meeting rooms. It's a great setting!

Hope that all that are interested will join us. I will begin to tweet the news today. Whether we have 20 or 200 join us, it doesn't matter, we will have a great day of learning. (SGCUE has a tech event this day, but as you know there will always be conflicts.)

We held edcampLdr at USC in July and it was a great event. I look forward to hearing from anyone who is able to participate on the org team. If not, no worries. 

Since we've not been in contact as a group since late 2015 (when no one was able to go forward) I hope that you will all receive this news in the spirit of collegiality. 

I will be reaching out to my sponsor contacts to gather support for Breakfast and some raffle gifts. Lunch will be on campus or brown bag which makes it simple. There is a cost for parking but we will be sure to let attendees know all info on our site.

Bill...let us know if you can do updates on the site. If not no worries. Please share the access again so one of us can update.
